The Buderflys journey started one day in 2015 on the ski slopes in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Shea, Founder and CEO, is an avid skier and consumer of podcasts and audiobooks. While listening to Kill ’Em and Leave: Searching for James Brown and the American Soul by James McBride, her ears were aching and sore under her helmet. It was only after her third run on a bluebird day. At that moment a light went off and after a few chairlift “focus groups”, it was clear that many people disliked the fit and comfort of their earbuds. After 6 years of research, development, designing, testing and lots of podcasts, we have Buderflys.
From day one, we set out to redefine fit, comfort level, and acoustical design for the earbud industry.
* Purpose - Built Design: To provide a customized fit without the pain, ear fatigue and fragility of widely-used materials within the industry. Extensive testing with a proprietary blended material substrate cured within a platinum-based solution allows for a soft, durable, comfortable solution that can be worn for extended periods of time.
* Industry - Leading Fit Profile: Mechanical design of the ear piece has distinct relief-cuts formed into the canal structure which allow for consistent isotropic compression when inserted into the ear without developing ‘hot-spots’ of discomfort.
* Balanced Armature Technology: Enabled a matrixed approach of various audio components to develop a sound signature that has extremely high intelligibility of the spoken word, while allowing for a wide sound-stage experience with music or other content.
* Acoustic Symmetry: Meticulous effort put in to ensure earpieces are within a tight dB tolerance of each other allowing the user to experience content as the author intended.
* Noise Isolating: Hear more of your conversations, music and podcasts and less of the outside world.
* Cabling System: Should you choose a cabled option, our braided silver-plated copper wires enhance the delivery of every detail in your music and spoken-word sound profiles.

We are a team of thinkers, life-long learners, audiophiles, and explorers. As we walk, work, bike, ski, ride, commute, and occasionally sleep with earbuds, we know that the ability to wear earbuds for long periods, comfortably, and with incredible clarity of sound is vital to how we discover great content and communicate.
Our buds are technically in ear monitors, which means they take a little work to ensure they are properly in your ear. However, once in correctly, they stay snug and comfortable all day long. They also become more comfortable the longer you wear them as they warm to your body heat.
Your Bluetooth® cable comes partially charged so that you can pair your device and start to listen to your music immediately.
To charge your cable:
Remove the USB Charging Port cover with your fingernail and insert a Micro-USB cable.
Plug the other end into a USB 120V adapter or into a device that charges USB cables (such as a computer).

No. Do not submerge your earbuds in water to clean them, do not get liquid in the openings, and when your earbuds need cleaned, use a lint-free cloth very lightly dampened with water to wipe them down. After cleaning, do not use your earbuds until they are completely dry. Moisture in your earbuds can cause temporary performance issues. Do not insert your earbuds if your ears are wet. Always dry your ears completely before inserting your earphones. Should you inadvertently allow water or perspiration into the earphones and they quit working, allow them to dry completely before attempting to use again. Minor moisture build-up should dry out and not impact long-term performance. Extended exposure to moisture or submersion will result in permanent damage (not covered by the warranty).
If you want to pair your device “Buderflys Curiosity G2” to a new mobile device which has never been connected to your device, you need to ensure that your device is in pairing mode.
There are two ways to enter the pairing mode:
A) Hold down the power button for 5 seconds while turning on the device.
B) Clear the PDL (paired device list) by pressing the combined buttons (Vol+ & Vol-).
The device will enter the pairing mode if no mobile phones have ever been connected to the device “Buderflys Curiosity G2” or the PDL (paired device list) has been cleared.
If your device fails to pair with “Buderflys Curiosity G2”
A) Disable and enable the Bluetooth on your phone and search for the device “Buderflys Curiosity G2” again.
B) Reboot your device “Buderflys Curiosity G2” and make it go into pairing mode. Then attempt to paid your device again.
The device will switch off if no mobile phone has been connected after 5 minutes.
The device will automatically try to reconnect to the last device which has been paired with the device “Buderflys Curiosity G2”. If you have cleared the PDL, the device will go into pairing mode rather than reconnecting.
The operation of enabling “Voice search/Siri” can only be used on smartphones that support the function of voice search. When the device goes into low battery mode, LED indicators for all events will turn red and an alarm tone will be played every five minutes.
