The Buderflys journey started one day in 2015 on the ski slopes in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Shea, founder and CEO, is an avid skier and consumer of podcasts and audiobooks. While listening to Kill ’Em and Leave: Searching for James Brown and the American Soul by James McBride, her ears were aching and sore under her helmet. It was only after her third run on a bluebird day. At that moment a light went off and after a few chairlift “focus groups”, it was clear that many people disliked the fit and comfort of their earbuds. After years of research, development, designing, testing and lots of podcasts, Buderflys was born.
Since your ears move and change shape every time you move your head, neck, or mouth, hard clamshell-shaped earbuds cause painful friction and fall out. Buderflys are built with a form-flexing compound that allows the bud to fit snugly in your ears and move with you. Our proprietary material uses body heat to mold to your ear, meaning they fit your unique ear shape every time you put them in.

Our proprietary material creates a form-flexing, never-hardening material that responds to your body heat for improved comfort the longer you listen.
Yes. However, they are not waterproof, so do not submerge your earbuds in water to clean them, do not get liquid in the openings, and when your earbuds need to be cleaned, use a lint-free cloth very lightly dampened with water to wipe them down. After cleaning, do not use your earbuds until they are completely dry. Moisture in your earbuds can cause temporary performance issues. Do not insert your earbuds if your ears are wet. Always dry your ears completely before inserting your earphones. Should you inadvertently allow water or perspiration into the earphones and they quit working, allow them to dry completely before attempting to use again. Minor moisture build-up should dry out and not impact long-term performance. Extended exposure to moisture or submersion will result in permanent damage (not covered by the warranty).
If you want to pair your device “Buderflys Curiosity G2” to a new mobile device which has never been connected to your device, you need to ensure that your device is in pairing mode.
There are two ways to enter the pairing mode:
A) Hold down the power button for 5 seconds while turning on the device.
B) Clear the PDL (paired device list) by pressing the combined buttons (Vol+ & Vol-).
The device will enter the pairing mode if no mobile phones have ever been connected to the device “Buderflys Curiosity G2” or the PDL (paired device list) has been cleared.
If your device fails to pair with “Buderflys Curiosity G2”
A) Disable and enable the Bluetooth on your phone and search for the device “Buderflys Curiosity G2” again.
B) Reboot your device “Buderflys Curiosity G2” and make it go into pairing mode. Then attempt to paid your device again.
The device will switch off if no mobile phone has been connected after 5 minutes.
The device will automatically try to reconnect to the last device which has been paired with the device “Buderflys Curiosity G2”. If you have cleared the PDL, the device will go into pairing mode rather than reconnecting.
The operation of enabling “Voice search/Siri” can only be used on smartphones that support the function of voice search. When the device goes into low battery mode, LED indicators for all events will turn red and an alarm tone will be played every five minutes.
No. However, it does enable you to keep using your buds while the tether is charging, and also lets you plug directly into your devices (like your computer, for example).
When purchased, the T2 Estron wired cable gives you the option to plug your Buderflys directly into your device.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
Please handle your Buderflys earbuds and cable with care. They are crafted with sensitive electronic sound, battery components, and connections that can be damaged, alter their functions, or cause you harm if improperly handled. Take care to not crush, puncture, expose to excessive heat (like on your car dashboard) or damaging chemicals, burn or drop them. Additionally, the batteries are rechargeable, so please do not try to replace them! This could damage the batteries or the earbuds, which could lead to the batteries overheating.
